Welcome to Historic Motor Racing, the website of Graham Gauld

If you have been checking my site in the past year its updating has been spasmodic. However I hope to be updating and adding to the site on a more regular basis in the future.

One of the future reports will be on the Historic Grand Prix of the Algarve in October, one of the many International historic race meetings that is on the way up.

Graham Gauld

Born in Edinburgh, Graham Gauld has been a motoring writer for over fifty years. He was Editor of the Scottish weekly motoring magazine, Motor World and later Editor of Historic Racing and Historic Motor Racing magazines.

A regular contributor to motoring magazines all over the world he has a black and white and colour photographic library dating back to 1953.

A selection of photographic prints are now available for sale. Have a look at the Photo Gallery, for the current selection. However if any reader has a request for a specific car or race we can check the files. Photographs purchased are for private use only and may not be used for magazines, books, web sites without the permission of the photographer.

Check out the new Ecurie Ecosse website with news and history of the Ecurie Ecosse Motor Racing Team.
